How a session operates
Each Body Reset session at Healing & Harmony Studio runs for 60 MINUTES and follows a guided group format led by a trained instructor. Sessions combine deliberate, assisted stretches and mobility progressions inspired by the YogaBody Fitness methodology. Group classes are scheduled Tuesday- 10:00 am, Wednesday- 6:00 pm and Saturday- TBA, and the flat price is $20 for each session.
The group setting supports instruction, hands-on assistance when appropriate, and peer-paced progress without the expectation of one-on-one therapy. Hillcrest's central location on Jacksonville’s Westside is convenient for commuters from Riverside, Avondale, Murray Hill, and Lakeshore, letting clients fit a class into busy schedules and nearby shopping or dining outings after a session.
Techniques and focus areas
Body Reset emphasizes safe, science-based stretching techniques that prioritize joint-friendly ranges and progressive mobility work. Instructors use elements drawn from the YogaBody Fitness approach to address tight hips, shoulders, and back while offering modifications. The work focuses on restoring natural movement rather than deep tissue manipulation, and sessions include breathing and calming cues intended to help regulate the nervous system.
This class is not a substitute for individualized medical care or targeted therapeutic massage for specific injuries. Participants with recent surgeries, acute injuries, or complex medical conditions should consult their healthcare provider before attending. In-class modifications allow many people to participate safely, but instructors cannot diagnose conditions or provide medical treatment during group sessions.
Who benefits most locally
People who spend long hours commuting or sitting, active adults seeking better range of motion, and those who notice persistent tightness in hips, shoulders, or back often find noticeable mobility improvements. Jacksonville’s hot, humid climate and year-round activity patterns mean clients commonly seek flexibility and relief across seasons, with demand peaking in January, February, and September.
Many clients combine Body Reset classes with other appointments or with a walk through nearby parks and dining in Avondale or Riverside. Because the class suits all levels, it’s a practical choice for working families and professionals managing busy schedules — bring comfortable clothing and a willingness to move, and expect progressive sessions rather than instant fixes.
